Thai Union Marine Nutrients GmbH (TUMN), based in Bentwisch near Rostock, is a proud member of the Thai Union Group (TUG) and has been operating a state-of-the-art plant for refining omega-3 oils such as tuna and algae oils since 2020. The main product, refined tuna oil, meets the highest quality standards and is used in high-quality infant formula. From the very beginning, the fully automated production plant was specially developed to meet these demanding quality requirements. More than 30 highly qualified specialists work in three shifts in the FSSC22000, Kosher and Halal certified production facility. TUMN supplies the world's leading infant formula manufacturers and helps to ensure that the health and well-being of the youngest generations is guaranteed by high-quality omega-3 oils.
To support our team in Bentwisch near Rostock, at the earliest possible date we are looking for an:
Finance Manager / Controller (m/f/d)
Responsibilities:
- Manage month-end closing, financial forecasting, and budgeting in collaboration with the accounting team
- Assist in preparing annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS
- Coordinate monthly payroll accounting with the Sassnitz office
- Lead product cost analysis and financial performance evaluation
- Monitor expenditure and implement cost-control measures
- Develop and update finance and accounting manuals
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business administration
- 3-5 years of experience in financial controlling, accounting, and reporting
- Experience in HGB and IFRS financial statement preparation
- Strong project management and analytical skills
- Results-oriented, proactive team player
- Proficiency in SAP Manufacturing Accounting and Microsoft Office
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
