As a Program Manager in the European Sustainable Packaging Team, you will be responsible to manage packaging technical documentation (including compliance certificates), artworks, and the relationship with the Material Characterization and Packaging Performance Laboratories. You will also manage the Packaging Quality Control mechanism, lead root cause analysis in partnership with packaging suppliers and fulfillment centers. To be successful, you will need analytical and data-driven thinking, excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills to drive consensus across multiple stakeholders (internal and external). You prioritize quality, you are continuously connected to the details and insisting in the high bar. The ability to work independently and deal with an ambiguous environment is a must. Ownership of work is extremely important, and you should have a proven record of driving projects and strategic initiatives to their completion. The ideal candidate is motivated, agile, with strong project management skills, and continuous improvement tools.

Key job responsibilities

  • Technical Documentation Management
  • Artwork Management
  • Work closely with Material Characterization and Packaging Performance Laboratories to ensure comprehensive performance testing of packaging material
  • Work closely with Procurement and Packaging Suppliers as Technical Owner in Tender Processes
  • Conduct gap analysis in the performance of existing packaging, implementing targeted improvements to enhance efficiency, sustainability and overall effectiveness
  • Material optimization for reducing overall packaging waste and carbon footprint
  • Participate on developing innovative pack designs and materials
  • Compile requirements documents, and own business metrics and KPIs for your processes and services
  • Demonstrate strong product management, organizational, and leadership skills

  • Experience in program or project management
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience leading process improvements
  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
  • Knowledge of SQL.
