We are looking for an experienced commercial manager to join our Commercial Analysis & Market Intelligence team. Your accountabilities include:
- Be part of the centre of competence within Uniper Renewables for the financial modelling for internal project development, investment opportunity valuations but also for asset rotation and divestments to external investors
- Work with the development and technical teams to evaluate and assess various investment opportunities and prepare, present and communicate the results
- Coordinate the internal valuation process from problem definition and data gathering to results and communication
- Develop the financial modelling tools for Solar PV and Onshore Wind for various internal and external requirements ranging from development partnerships, greenfield origination to financial decisions
- Implement as well as continuously enhance best-practice discounted cashflow model structures
- University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance or comparable studies
- Relevant work experience from e.g. controlling, corporate finance or comparable commercial role
- Understanding of power markets and renewables (Solar PV and Onshore Wind) and also valuation and investment analysis
- Expertise in financial modelling and ability to understand and translate business reality into pragmatic financial model structures and to be able to present and explain the results
- Deep understanding of the value drivers of utility scale Wind and Solar assets
- Good problem solving skills
