We are looking for a full-time Accountant (m/f/d) to support our finance team at our location in Merzig/Saarland – Fori Automation GmbH, a Lincoln Electric company – as soon as possible.

In this role you will support our team in the following tasks:

  • General banking and accounting duties
  • Ensure that all accounting trans­actions are prepared in a timely manner and reported in accordance with local, statutory and Lincoln Electric requirements
  • Main legislative contact for company financial matters
  • Manage all accounting trans­actions based on accounting principles
  • Timely publication of financial statements
  • Perform monthly and annual financial statements
  • Carrying out account reconciliations for the companies
  • Calculate direct and indirect taxes and assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns and related general ledger accounting
  • Assisting in the preparation of annual financial statements and external and internal audits
  • Prepare regular reports for the management
  • Performing and auditing payment

  • Successfully completed commer­cial training or Master / Bachelor's degree with a focus on finance and accounting
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in performing accounting and financial analysis for multinational companies
  • Excellent computer skills and experience with SAP & Microsoft Office applications
  • Fluent in English
  • Solid knowledge of local German accounting principles, legal requirements and tax laws
  • A strong working knowledge of US GAAP
  • International tax experience and Transfer price knowledge is beneficial
