We are looking for a full-time Accountant (m/f/d) to support our finance team at our location in Merzig/Saarland – Fori Automation GmbH, a Lincoln Electric company – as soon as possible.
In this role you will support our team in the following tasks:
- General banking and accounting duties
- Ensure that all accounting transactions are prepared in a timely manner and reported in accordance with local, statutory and Lincoln Electric requirements
- Main legislative contact for company financial matters
- Manage all accounting transactions based on accounting principles
- Timely publication of financial statements
- Perform monthly and annual financial statements
- Carrying out account reconciliations for the companies
- Calculate direct and indirect taxes and assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual tax returns and related general ledger accounting
- Assisting in the preparation of annual financial statements and external and internal audits
- Prepare regular reports for the management
- Performing and auditing payment
- Successfully completed commercial training or Master / Bachelor's degree with a focus on finance and accounting
- At least 3 years of professional experience in performing accounting and financial analysis for multinational companies
- Excellent computer skills and experience with SAP & Microsoft Office applications
- Fluent in English
- Solid knowledge of local German accounting principles, legal requirements and tax laws
- A strong working knowledge of US GAAP
- International tax experience and Transfer price knowledge is beneficial
