Frontend Developer – Business Banking (f/m/x) in Berlin

Your Tasks

• With your passion for frontend development, you play a crucial role in making our products in Business Banking simple, individual, and smart.
• In collaboration with the product owners, designers, and customer journey experts, you design and implement innovative solutions and further develop existing banking functions.
• Developing intuitive user interfaces, you not only integrate them seamlessly with our Backoffice systems, but also never tire of enhancing their quality and performance to bring out their best.
• Your code is solid as a bank. Via code reviews, testing and other best practices you ensure that our code quality is of the highest level. Naturally you also guarantee that different libraries and our frontend applications are well-maintained and up to snuff.
• Communication is key: you keep your colleagues up to date, leave no questions regarding regulations and security unanswered, and emphasise the importance of constructive and appreciative exchange.

Your Profile

• Degree in (media) computer science or a comparable qualification
• At least two years of professional experience in frontend development and JavaScript. Practical knowledge of React.js, Typescript or Vue.js is an advantage
• Experience with testing patterns (from unit to e2e)
• Tech stack: Typescript, JavaScript, lit-html
• Understanding of state management techniques and ability to integrate different data fetching techniques
• Inclination towards writing and maintaining consistent and clear documentation for developers and stakeholders
• Very good abstraction and analysis skills
• Solution-oriented, structured, passion for learning new things and enjoy working in a team
• Very good written and spoken English
