You have the opportunity to complete your internship in a team that carries out project activities on strategic topics for Daimler Truck AG, such as automated driving, emission-free driving or connectivity.

We shape the Corporate Strategy together with the Strategy representatives of all regions globally and prepare strategically relevant discussions in the Board of Management and Supervisory Board.

Furthermore, we elaborate future trends with relevance for the global commercial vehicle industry, estimate the impact on our company and derive measures to leverage the opportunities and avoid the risks.


As part of the internship, you can expect the following tasks:

  • Insight into products, processes, divisions and strategies of the central division of Daimler Trucks, e.g. on automated driving, alternative drive technologies or connectivity
  • Preparation, execution and post-processing of international workshops and meetings
  • Preparation of PowerPoint presentations with challenging content for the top management
  • Researching relevant megatrends and deriving implications, action requirements and concrete strategic initiatives

  • Degree course in Engineering, Economics, Information Science or a comparable field of study
  • Enhanced proficiency in MS-Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Commitment, ability to work in a team, analytical and strategic skills, communication skills
  • Interest and affinity in creating PowerPoint slides'Interest in and understanding of economical & technical contexts
  • Basic knowledge of project management as well as cross-cultural experience in the US, India and Japan is preferred

Please note that your internship at this location must be mandatory for at least 4 weeks.
