We as NTT Global Data Centers EMEA are one of the leading and largest data center providers and for more than 20 years we have been supporting our clients from a wide variety of industries with our talented team of over 1000 people (m/f/d). Today, we are designing and operating 18 data center locations across 160,000 sqm in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, in the Netherlands and in Great Britain and expanding into further markets.

Legal Counsel (m/f/d)

As our Legal Counsel (m/f/d) you will provide legal advice and support to the business on all employment-related matters, as well as supporting the corporate legal team.


  • Provide excellent, pragmatic and business-oriented legal advice in all areas of employment law, including the hire-to-retire lifecycle of an employee
  • Develop and implement best practices and policies to ensure compliance with applicable regulations at local and international levels
  • Draft a variety of employment-related documents, templates, and HR policies
  • Define and regularly provide training to HR team on processes, regulatory updates, and best practices
  • Manage employment-related litigation
  • Manage board meetings for a number of entities across multiple jurisdictions, including drafting minutes and resolutions
  • Maintain internal corporate register for the EMEA region
  • Support mergers and acquisitions as part of a project team
  • Provide due diligence support to the asset management team

  • Excellent academic degree with focus on employment law and good knowledge in corporate law
  • Proven professional experience, ideally in a multinational group environment or an international law firm
  • Knowledge in German employment law and labour practices as well as in other European jurisdictions; litigation experience a plus
  • Excellent German, fluency in English, verbal and written
  • Superb oral and written communication skills with the ability to analyse, organize, and present facts, evidence, and related materials effectively in both written and oral form
  • Understanding of economic and commercial context, technical processes, as well as very good negotiation skills
  • Independent, structured, and proactive way of working combined with a hands-on, team player mentality
