If so, we invite you to apply for the role of the Coun­try Fi­nance Man­ager Ger­many (f/m/x) in Hamburg.

In this position, you will be re­spon­si­ble for over­see­ing all as­pects of fi­nan­cial man­age­ment, ac­count­ing, and re­port­ing with­in the coun­try, en­sur­ing com­pli­ance with local and inter­na­tion­al stan­dards for our three legal enti­ties in Ger­many (Ham­burg, König­stein im Taunus, and Lem­werder).


  • Oversee financial man­age­ment, ac­count­ing, and re­port­ing for our Ger­man enti­ties, in­clud­ing the im­ple­men­ta­tion of fi­nance frame­works, pol­i­cies, and pro­ces­ses in accor­dance with local/inter­na­tion­al ac­count­ing stan­dards
  • Leading and motivat­ing a team of four di­rect re­ports
  • Strategically plan and mon­i­tor the annu­al finan­cial bud­get, cap­i­tal ex­pen­di­tures, and liq­uid­ity to en­sure opti­mal work­ing cap­i­tal as well as min­i­miza­tion of finan­cial risk
  • Monitor financial per­for­mance against tar­gets by pro­vid­ing finan­cial fore­casts, re­views, and ana­lyses, ad­dress­ing fore­cast devi­a­tions and poten­tial finan­cial chal­lenges
  • Implementing effective risk man­age­ment as well as com­pli­ance prac­tices to safe­guard as­sets and min­i­mize lia­bil­ities
  • Drive continuous im­prove­ments in ac­count­ing, re­port­ing, and in­ter­nal con­trol pro­cesses/sys­tems to en­hance value for stake­holders
  • Collaborating closely with the Coun­try Man­age­ment Team on fi­nance-re­lated ini­tia­tives and projects

  • A degree in Finance, Ac­count­ing, or a re­lated field
  • Proven experience in finan­cial man­age­ment, ac­count­ing, and re­port­ing, with a min­i­mum of 7 years in a man­age­rial role
  • In-depth knowledge of local as well as inter­na­tion­al ac­count­ing stan­dards and reg­u­la­tions, know­ledge of SAP is an asset
  • Strong analytical and prob­lem-solv­ing skills, with the abil­ity to inter­pret com­plex finan­cial data and pro­vide action­able in­sights
  • Excellent communication and in­ter­per­son­al skills, with the abil­ity to effec­tive­ly col­lab­o­rate with stake­hold­ers at all levels
  • Advanced proficiency in finan­cial model­ing, fore­cast­ing, and anal­y­sis soft­ware
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dy­namic envi­ron­ment and man­age mul­ti­ple pri­or­i­ties effec­tively
