Would you like to drive Operational Excellence at ZEISS? In close collaboration with the management and business units, you will work on operational excellence projects at ZEISS with a clear focus on supply chain improvements. As a senior manager you will be responsible for managing and supporting our core business and operational excellence activities. With your natural passion for driving improvements, you will take on the leadership for specific projects with a focus on improvements along the global ZEISS supply chain across all business units. You will be responsible for planning, monitoring, structuring and executing these projects as well as interacting with all related stakeholders. Additionally, your main focus will be on developing concepts and best practices to support the continuous improvement journey of operations at ZEISS.

An above-average master's degree in (Supply Chain) Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

7+ years of professional experience in a consulting environment or within the operations or supply chain department of a leading global company

High process understanding along the entire supply chain and understanding of optimization principles (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)

Strong project management skills

Relevant skills to drive operational excellence activities and execute lighthouse projects

Experience in lateral leadership of teams

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Profound analytical competence, strategic and outside-the-box thinking

Ability to present complex issues in a compressed manner

Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken
