At our site in Böblingen you will find both as Cable Commodity Manager (m/f/d) Your Responsibilities Owns, defines and drives implementation of strategies and roadmaps for the V93K Cable commodity, including product portfolio management of the respective supplier base Professional functional leader providing guidance and expertise to various audiences including high level management to achieve business results with innovative solutions Owns and leads supplier management for Cable suppliers including, assurance of supply, inventory & cost management, forecasting, supplier selection and performance evaluation Implementation of long-term assurance of supply strategies to cope with the volatile business environment of V93K test systems Supply base risk management and business continuity planning, also managing excess & obsolescence risks and liabilities Overall ownership for supplier relationship and escalation management Operational procurement tasks (e.g. generation and tracking of purchase orders, buy/sell activities, invoice and payment tracking) Your Qualifications Master / Bachelor's degree in business administration, industrial engineering or similar Comprehensive commercial & technical experience in commodity and supplier management for electrical assemblies, preferred for interconnect solutions (Cables, Connectors) Track record of procurement strategy developments and implementations, ability to lead realization of strategies in a fast-changing environment Supplier management experience in international, complex supply chains Excellent communication, presentation and coaching skills (cross-functional, cross-cultural) over all hierarchy levels Fluent English & German language skills (verbal & written) Strong self-management, sets proper priorities, able to coordinate and influence x-functional teams Proven team player and integrator Very structured and analytical work methodology combined with visionary thinking Our offer Flexibility Benefits Development Fitness Security Flexible and trust-based working hours, 30 vacation days + option for additional vacation days, mobile working, individual part-time models and programs for extended periods of absence Attractive salary, share in Advantest´s success through our exceptionally appealing bonus program as well as numerous subsidies, discounts and offerings (e.g. bike leasing) Structured onboarding programs and mentoring, development discussions, technical and soft skill trainings, language courses and knowledge sessions Ergonomic working environment, sports and fitness options and events (e.g. Global Challenge) as well as health days Attractive company pension scheme, comprehensive insurance coverage and support in emergency situations Take your next career step with us!
