Walter Morales Entrepreneurial Scholarship

Eligibility

• Enrollment Status: Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited graduate or undergraduate program at a U.S.-based college or university.
• Interest in Entrepreneurship: The scholarship is open to students from any field of study, but applicants must demonstrate a strong interest in entrepreneurship.
• Academic Standing: Applicants must be in good academic standing with a 3.0 CGPA.
• Essay Requirement: Applicants must submit an original, 500-700 word essay that answers the following question: “What is a business idea or initiative you are passionate about? Describe your plan for bringing it to life and how this scholarship can help you on that journey.” The essay must not be AI-generated.
• Submission Deadline: You must submit your application, including your essay, by August 10, 2025.

Application Process

• Complete the Online Application Form: Visit the Walter Morales Entrepreneurial Scholarship website and fill out the online application form with your personal and academic information. Ensure all fields are completed accurately.
• Submit Your Essay: Save your essay as a PDF file. You will need to upload this file as part of your application requirement.
• Submit Proof of Enrollment: Upload a current enrollment verification document from your accredited U.S. institution as part of your application.
• Application Review: After the submission deadline on August 10, 2025, all applications will be reviewed by the scholarship committee.
• Winner Announcement: The winner of the Walter Morales Entrepreneurial Scholarship will be announced on August 31, 2025, on the scholarship website and will also be notified via email.
• Award Distribution: The $1,000 scholarship will be sent directly to the winner’s institution to be applied to tuition, books, or other educational expenses.
