The Smooth Movers offer a $1,000 Scholarship for one bright student
The Smooth Movers are one of the leading removalists in Perth WA. Due to our success over the years we would like to give something back to the community. We believe that current students are paving the way for the future of our society. From our own experience we know that it can be hard to study, pay for your tuition fees and to afford a life. Therefore, we’ve decided to support one bright student with a $1,000 scholarship each year.
The Challenge
In order to be considered for The Smooth Movers Scholarship, we ask you to write a 900 word essay with your thoughts on what the future of housing will look like. In addition you need to produce a 2 minute video explaining your thoughts on camera.
We are particularly interested in:

- – General shifts in generational living behaviours
- – What innovative approaches towards housing can be expected in the future
- – The future of urbanisation
- – The blurring lines between home, work and play
- – Home ownership vs. renting
Why is this relevant to us? As a leading removalist company, we are very interested in the future of housing as it impacts the way we do business and interact with the community.
Who is eligible
To qualify for one of our scholarships, you must be:

- – Students applying must be enrolled with a high school, college or University.
- – This scholarship is available for students in Australia, USA, Canada and Europe.
- – Successful applicants are required to submit the original copies of their proof of their enrolment as a full-time student
- – The Smooth Movers reserves the right to reject incomplete applications or plagiarised applications.
- – We reserve the right to reject all applications not made in the English language.
- – The Smooth Movers reserves the right to publish the entries received on any platform.
- – The scholarship award is decided solely by the panel of The Smooth Movers’scholarship committee.
- – The Smooth Movers reserves the right to object or withdraw the scholarship upon discovering any breach in terms.

Dates & Entry Submission Details

- – Our scholarship will be awarded on 31st December of each year.
- – The deadline for submitting your essay and video is 30th November.
